Summary: Kete often have an interesting social history, associated with the weavers who made them, the people who have owned and used them, the materials and styles in which they are made, the functions they fulfill, the places and events they have been to. In this book, owners of kete contribute stories associated with one or more of their kete, giving diverse range of anecdotes that complement the photos of the kete.
