Summary: Fifteen-year-old Freedom Smith is a fighter, just like all of his gypsy relatives who have the "Hercules gene". Faced with a false charge of attempted murder, Freedom agrees to help a covert law enforcement agency break up an illegal fight ring that is recruiting runaway boys. What he discovers is far bigger and more dangerous.
