Summary: Teenage Ashley Anowiak has frightening dreams of an Inuit shaman through a spiritual bond with Nanurluk, the legendary spirit bear. When freak weather, the result of a changing Arctic climate, hits the tiny Arctic village where she lives, Ashley sets out on a journey to discover if the polar bear is real or not, and to put an end to the fears of her village.
